Welcome to the New Zealand Gifted Awareness Week Blog Tour. Our blog tour has finished for the 2012, but the list of posts will remain active. Many thanks to all who have supported the blog tour by writing, reading, commenting, and sharing links. Your input has been inspiring, heart-warming and humbling. See last year's posts for even more blogs about giftedness. Contact Mary St George of Gifted Online to book for next June's blog tour. We are also looking for bloggers to write posts for the World Conference on Gifted and Talented Children's blog. Such posts will be emailed to Elaine for consideration. The #wgt13 blog has a dual purpose - to share information about catering for gifted children and to share snippets of what will happen at the conference to encourage people to attend. Posts can be written for either of both of these purposes, but would be placed on the #wgt13 blog rather than the writer's own. Writing for an audience of more educators and researchers than parents is appropriate for the #wgt13 blog. New Zealand perspectives, and the perspectives of conference presenters who would like to offer a "taster" for their sessions, will be prioritised.
