Sharing Children's Work
Here at Gifted Online, students put all their work in an e-portfolio and this is shared with their Gifted Online buddies, who probably show it to their parents, teachers and friends from time to time. However, we do not routinely put our students' work on public display on the internet, and we seek parental permission before sharing work.
Should you wish to put some of your child's work on display yourself, please feel very welcome to upload photos on our Facebook page at
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Gifted-Online/153149948035138
. This will work very well to display photos of children's art and constructions, or photos that children have taken to develop or demonstrate photographic skill. We would actually like to see any gifted child's work there, whether they are in the programme or not, you can upload it yourself, and it is quick and easy to do. However, it is not a great way to display children's written work.
Hummingbird is not student work - it is end-of-term frivolity!
If your child is currently enrolled in one of the GO Programmes
and you want his or her written work displayed on
Mary's personal blog
, the
WAGC
blog (Waikato connections needed for this), or a subpage to be added to this page that you are now reading. please contact Mary about this.
