The Canterbury Earthquake has had a huge impact on schools and children. Schools which offered great programmes for gifted children may have lost classrooms or other resources to run those programmes, even if the schools themselves have been able to re-open. Some children are still at home, with no fixed date for a return to classmates and familiar routines.

Any Canterbury child, or any child anywhere, may try the activities in our free sample lesson. Gifted children in Canterbury were able to enrol in Gifted Online for half price during Term One. Applications from Canterbury are still being fast tracked, and children will begin on a trial basis until it is reasonable to gather all the information that we usually require.
